Richmond Police investigate second deadly shooting in Carver neighborhood in less than 24 hours. It is not clear if they re related.

RICHMOND, Va. Just 24 hours after
another man was shot and killed there, Richmond Police are investigating another deadly shooting on Gilmer Street in the Carver neighborhood.
This time, police said they were called to the 400 block of Gilmer Street for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man lying on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound. Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

RICHMOND, Va. Richmond Police said a child was shot and killed Tuesday evening, but they aren t searching for any suspects.
Police received a report around 5 p.m. that someone had been shot in the 3700 block of Angela Drive.
Police said when they arrived, they found a boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, and police said he was later pronounced dead.
Police did not give the boy s exact age, but did say he was under the age of 13.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Police said a death investigation is underway after a child under the age of 13 was shot and killed in Richmond on Tuesday.
Police were called shortly after 5 p.m. to the 3700 block of Angela Drive for the report of a person shot.
“When police arrived, they found a juvenile male under the age of 13 suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,” RPD said.
The child was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Family members have identified the 10-year-old boy who was shot and killed on Richmondâs Southside Tuesday evening as Teon Burwell. Teon was playing at his home on Angela Drive when he found a gun, according to his grandmother Louise Shelton. Shelton said her grandson accidentally shot himself in front of his 12-year-old brother.
